(One) Difference between the Gnostic gospel and the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

Gnosticism says you have “it” within yourself so go realize your dreams and start living your potential. The gospel of Christ says there is nothing good in you and that the Kingdom of God and the future assurance of Christ’s victory are the only things worth dreaming about; everything else pales in comparison.

Gnosticism is from within; Christianity is from without.
